Mishqa Roberts (She/her) - Lead Instructor
Mishqa has been dancing since the age of ten, and has a true passion for movement. Over the years, she has trained in a wide variety of styles—including jazz, tap, contemporary, musical theatre, and more—shaping her into a versatile, fierce, and expressive performer. She has a deep love for dance and is committed to sharing that passion with others. She believes that everyone, no matter age or experience, deserves to develop their mind body connection and discover their innate ability for movement. Mishqa is incredibly excited to be teaching with Divine Movement, and cannot wait to share the joy of dance in every class. Vidya Natarajan (She/her) - Bharatanatyam Instructor
Vidya Natarajan studied bharatanatyam (Indian classical dance) for many years with Tanjavur Kittappa, one of the greatest masters of this form. She also studied Indian classical music with T. Brinda and expressive dancing with Shyamala Mohan. She performed and taught dance for many years in India and south-east Asia. Since moving to Canada in 2002, she has taught master classes and performed in productions by inDance, a Toronto dance company. In 2018, she turned her PhD research into a novel called The Undoing Dance. Dance with Vidya: Saturdays 1:30PM - 2:30PM |

Rae Adkins (They/Them) - Crew/Media
Rae’s passion for videography is both a fun hobby and a creative outlet. Their joy of bringing ideas to life, from filming, to shaping raw footage, to bringing every detail together in the final edit. They love capturing movement and energy in a way that feels authentic and shares the spirit of dance with everyone. Divine Movement Dance and Wellness is truly excited to be collaborating with a talent such as Rae! |
